Mrs. John (Erna M. Davis) Shewmaker, 88, of Warrensburg died 12:25 a.m. Wednesday (July 26, 1989) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home, with visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg.
Mrs. Shewmaker was born in Bismarck, MO., the daughter of Jeremiah Judson and Sarah Belle Davis. She was a member of Bismarck Baptist Church. She married John Edgar Shewmaker in 1920. He died in 1977.
Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Lois Lucille) Hansen of Satellite Beach, FL.; Mrs. Kenneth (Onita Marie) Henningsen of Horseshoe Bend, AZ.; Mrs. Raymond (Johnita Ellen) Alsup of Warrensburg; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
One son, one brother and three grandchildren preceded her in death.
