Anna S. Woodbury went to be with the Lord on June 24, 1998, at her home, after an extended illness.

Anna was born Aug. 15, 1939, at Bridgeport, to Howard and Anna Woodbury. She moved to Wenatchee in 1951, residing here since.

Anna was a member of the Lucky Clover 4-H Club for 14 years. Anna enjoyed making crafts for the fair. The loves of her life were her family, especially her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was so special to all of them. She will be greatly missed. She touched the hearts and lives of all she met.

Anna is survived by her mother, Anna Woodbury of Wenatchee; five sisters, Oretta Moon of Wenatchee, Ornetta Ferry of Valley Hi, Marie Burris of Wenatchee, Mary Ann Burris of Wenatchee and Emma Nilles of Omak; one brother, Marvin Buchanan of Pateros; and special friends, Assistant Chaplain Rainie of Central Washington Hospital, Cecilia Herzer and Lester and Jeanie Moore. She was preceded in death by her father, one brother and one sister.

Services are under the care of Betts Funeral Service, Wenatchee.

ANNA S. WOODBURY -- Service of commemoration will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, 1998. Pastor Jay Carson will officiate. Concluding services and interment will be at Wenatchee City Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 103 North Garfield, Wenatchee, WA 98801 or American Lung Association, 2625 3rd Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121. Services are under the care of Betts Funeral Service, 662-1561.
