Edwin, or "Bub" as his family fondly called him, was my Uncle whom I never had the privilege of meeting. Bub's entire family is so proud of him for his service to our country. He made the ultimate sacrifice over Germany that day in 1944. Uncle Bub loved his parents and siblings so much. He wrote many letters home and his parents, Plesant and Martha Estes, looked forward to receiving each one.
