Orangeburg - Edward Cooper Zeigler, 45, died Saturday in Demopollis, Ala., of a heart attack. The funeral will be 4 p.m. Monday at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Zeigler was born in Orangeburg, a son of Luther Tim and Carrie Kemmerlin Zeigler. He was a Baptist and a member of Woodmen of the World Camp 17. Surviving in addition of his parents are: his widow, Mrs. Virginia Hood Zeigler; two daughters, Mrs. Glen Spires of Fort Motte, Miss Tracy Zeigler of Orangeburg; one son, Edward C. Zeigler Jr. of Orangeburg; three sisters, Mrs. Pete French and Mrs. Doris Kennerly of Orangeburg, Mrs. James Morton of Aiken; five brothers, L. T. Zeigler Jr., John Harry Zeigler, Henry Zeigler and Arthur Zeigler of Orangeburg; Horace Zeigler of St. Matthews; one granddaughter. © The News and Courier, Charleston, SC, 2 Jul 1972
