Mr. Brown was born in White Plains in 1875. He was a retired electrical engineer, having been with the Edison Company thirty years.
In 1909 he married Miss Josephine Gillett of Rockland and had made his home there since his retirement in 1930. In 1937 he was master of Livingston Manor Lodge F. & A. M.
He and his wife with a party of friends were on a motor trip to California when he was stricken. Funeral services were held at the home conducted by Rev. Joseph E. Harvard, pastor of the Roscoe Presbyterian Church. Interment was in Westfield Flats Cemetery, Roscoe.
