Age 59, of Grand Blanc, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Brian's House in Davison. Funeral service will be held at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 11 AM with Pastor Robert Chadwick officiating. Mr. Altenburg was born October 4, 1947 to Robert and Thelma (Schuneman) Altenburg in Almont, Michigan. He worked for General Motors Flint Metal Fab for almost 42 years until retiring in August of 2006. Bob was honored to be a fireman for the Davison, Burton Station #2 and Grand Blanc Fire Departments for 37 years. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Grand Blanc.
