Graveside services for Marie Porter, 94, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. Ronnie Marley of Lamesa officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at Carillon Health Center.
She was born Feb. 15, 1905, in Portales, N.M. She married Samuel Kimble Porter on Oct. 4, 1923, in Ringling, Okla. He died Sept. 30, 1982.
The couple moved to Lubbock in 1947 from Crosby County. She was a member of the former University Baptist Church of Lubbock.
Survivors include two sons, John C. of Dallas and Frank A. of Las Vegas, N.M.; a daughter, Alene Dreyer of Lubbock; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
