Jennie Bedell
Jennie E. Bedell, 81, 101 Barkos Blvd., Apartment 263, Buffalo, N.Y., formerly of DuBois, died Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital In Cheektowaga, N.Y.
She was born Jan. 21, 1915, in DuBois, a daughter of the late Jesse H. Fritz and Mildred Lines Fritz. On Dec. 25, 1933, she married George Bedell, who died in 1986.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in DuBois and was a graduate of DuBois High School. She had worked as a bookkeeper and clerk at Shankel Pharrmacy for 23 years until she retired in 1977. She moved to Buffalo five years ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Marlene Sedor of Cheektowaga; two sisters, Kathryn Rideout of Steubenville, Ohio, and Hettie Potter of Arkansas; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Bedell; a sisterand three brothers.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and until service time Thursday at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel Inc., DuBois. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from the funeral chapel with Rev. Fred Doverspike officiating. Burial will be at Morningside Cemetery, DuBois.
