MRS. PRESTON JONES DEAD
Mrs. Josie Jones, wife of Preston Jones, near Milford, departed this life January 30, 1902. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband and four children, and aged mother and father, four sisters and one brother. She was a devoted wife and mother and a loving sister. She was of a cheerful disposition and scattered sunshine wherever she went. To know her was to love her and she has friends by the score.

Josie Joanna Young was born May 8, 1859 in Franklin County, Indiana the daughter of John B. & Mary Ann (Reed) Young. She was married to John Preston Jones March 8, 1883 in Shelby county, Indiana, and they were the parents of six children.
The children were Roy Andrew, Austin Earl, Ethel Mae, Zella Ann, Martha Mary and Ellen Joanne.
She had five sisters and one brother. Andrew Young; Margaret Boerstler, Mary Catherine Rutherford, Elizabeth Manlief, Caroline Underwood and Anna Maude Iuppenlatz.
