Mr. Keith, 67, of Fiske, Fallentimber RD 1, died unexpectedly at 7:30 p.m. on Nov 20, 1988 at Fiske. Mr. Keith retired as a painter and stenciler from the Samuel Rea Shops, Hollidaysburg of Conrail in 1983, after 33 years' service. He was born April 10, 1921, in Van Ormer, the son of Rex and Evelyn N (Jackson) Keith, and Oct 24, 1978, married Elsie Glass Martin. Surviving are his wife, a stepson, Blaine A. Martin of Fallentimber, and three grandchildren. Also surviving are his father of Van Ormer, a sister and brother: Mardell of Van Ormer and R. George of Fiske. Mr. Keith formerly attended the Assembly of God Church, Hollentown. He was a member of AARP, the Richard L. Beers Post VFW, Coalport; Wormleysburg American Legion, Mount Pleasant Grange, Utahville, and the Allemans Lodge Odd Fellows, Glasgow. Mr. Keith was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as a private first class in the European Theater. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
KEITH – Services for Clair H. Keith of Fiske, Fallentimber RD1 will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, by the Rev. J. Earl Douglass. Interment at Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, where Odd Fellows memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. followed by Grange memorial services at 7:30 p.m.
