Together Again
CLINTON - Bessie Leah Beus, age 90, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at Davis Hospital.
She was born February 4, 1912 in Clinton the daughter of Michael Ezra and Olive Baker Beus.
She had resided in Clinton for 90 years. The last year she had resided at Apple Village in Layton.
Bessie married Norris G. Adams on October 8, 1930 in the Salt Lake Temple. He passed away June 7, 1999.
She worked as the court clerk to the Clinton Justice Court for 10 years and retired from Federal Service after 15 years.
Bessie was a member of the LDS church and was a temple worker at the Salt Lake and Ogden temples for 10 years. She held many ward and stake positions in the church.
Bessie loved gardening, crafts and baseball.
Surviving are her six sons, N. Dean (Helene) Adams, Naperville, IL; Clark B. (Lois) Adams, Washington Terrace; Blair J. (Shirley) Adams, Douglas J. (Kay) Adams, Neil W. Adams, Layton; Roger L. Adams, Colorado Springs, CO; 16 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, VaNeta Beus Burnett, South Ogden.
Preceded in death by her husband.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 20, 2002 at 2 p.m. at the Clinton LDS Utah North Stake Center, 1448 W. 1800 No.
Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist"s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the church.
Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
