Sarah Emily Cruse, 67, a native of Baldwin County and resident of Foley, died March 7, 2001 at a local hospital after a long illness. Cruse was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church, Bon Secour and a former member of the Hamilton Baptist Church, Gateswood. Survivors include her husband, Stanley E. Cruse Sr. of Foley; two sons, Stanley E. Cruse Jr. and Mark Cruse, both of Summerville, S.C.; one brother, Nolan P. Cooper of Rosinton and one grandson, Stanley E. Cruse III of Summerville, S.C. Services were held March 9 at the Robertsdale First Baptist Church with burial in the Old Cooper Cemetery, Rosinton. The family requests memorials be made to the Fellowship of Oakbrook Church, 1400 Old Trolley Road, Summerville, SC. 29485. Arrangements were by Mack Funeral Home, Robertsdale.
