Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11 at the Brune & Buck Mortuary Chapel in Bishop for 52-year Bishop Resident Kemp "Mike" Elliott, Jr. Interment and a graveside service will be held at the Riverside National Cemetery on Wednesday, April 12.
Born Jan. 20, 1928 in Santa Ana, Mike died April 5, 2006 at Southern Inyo Hospital in Lone Pine. He was 78.
Mike served in the U.S. Air Force in World War II. He provided accounting services in Bishop for more than 40 years and was active in Search and Rescue organization for both Inyo and Mono Counties.
She is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kemp "Mike" and Tambra Elliott, III of O'Fallon, Mo.; one brother, Sheldon Elliott of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; two grandsons, Kemp M. Elliott, IV and Robert D. Elliott; and one great-granddaughter, Sophia Elliott.
