Freda Ann Burns, was born on 29th September 1944.
West Derby, Liverpool.

Youngest child and only daughter of
Frederick Burns (1919-1984) and
Vera Lilian Hunter (1919-1985)

Her older brother is Robert (1941, my husband's Father.)

She was christened on 1st November 1944,
at St Philips Church, Shail Road, Liverpool.

Sadly Freda never saw her first birthday,
and passed away on 15th August 1945,
at Alder Hey Childrens Hospital, Liverpool.

She was buried at 10am, on 18th August 1945,
Allerton Cemetery, Allerton, Liverpool.

My husband & I visited Allerton Cemetery,
but there is no headstone marking his Aunt's grave.

My special thanks to Debra Felger for sponsering little Freda's memorial. It means a lot to my husband & I.

~Little Angel~

When God calls little children
to dwell with him above,
We mortals sometimes question
the wisdom of his love.
For no heartache compares with
the death of one small child
Who does so much to make our world
seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to his fold,
So he picks a rosebud
before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so he takes but few
To make the land of heaven
more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
still somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows
will always be good-bye.
So when a little child departs,
we who are left behind
Must realize God loves children,
angels are hard to find.
