He never married. He was a teacher in St. Louis, returned home to Ohio to get his sister, Jane (so that she could go back and help him), contracted typhus, and died. He was Christened on 08 May 1823 at St. James in Liverpool.

Gravesite Details

On same monument as William and Thomas Stubbs, erected by their parents, Rev. Thomas and Mary Stubbs. Rev. Thomas Stubbs was a Methodist Minister in the Western Reserve area, and his family lived in Poland for five or six years.
