Mary Elizabeth Page, 87, of Columbia died Saturday, Sept. 19, 1998, in Columbia. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Page was born Jan. 9, 1911, in Columbia to William Lawson and Nannie Elizabeth Black Richardson. She married J. Bryant Page on Jan. 9, 1932, in Columbia, and he preceded her in death. She was a member of Olivet Christian Church and graduated from Hickman High School. Survivors include two sons, Charles Page of St. Charles and Glenn Page of Kelso, Wash.; four daughters, Martha Brink and Mary Oswald, both of Longview, Wash., Betty Bishop of Vancouver, Wash., and Linda Thornsberry of Kansas City; a brother, Robert Richardson of Columbia; a sister, Virginia Forbis of Columbia; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a grandson. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Broadway, Suite C-1, Columbia, Mo., 65203.
