Mrs. Anne Elizabeth Beckwith, Otego, NY, formerly of Waymart, died in an Oneonta, NY, hospital, Sunday, March 13, 1966. She was born August 31, 1879, in Scranton, and after marriage to Orville Beckwith, she lived in Waymart for many years untill 22 years ago, when the family moved to Otego. Mr. Beckwith died 11 years ago. She is survived by two daughters, the Misses Caroline and Mildred Beckwith of Delhi, NY. Mrs. L. Clark Beam and Mrs. Claud Beckwith of Waymart are sisters-in-law. Several nephews and nieces live in the Waymart area. Funeral services were held at the Bailey Funeral Home, Otego, NY. Wednesday, March 16, at 2p.m. The Rev. John A. Truax, Baptist Church, Otego, officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Otego, NY.
