Services Held Tuesday For Henry J. Luebbe, Half Day Resident
Funeral services for Henry J. Luebbe, 87, a life-long resident of the Half Day area, were held Tuesday at 2 pm in the Washburn Congregational Church, with burial at Vernon cemetery.
Mr. Luebbe died late Saturday in St. Therese Hospital where he had been a patient for one week.
Born Sept 22, 1866 in Buffalo Grove he had farmed south of Half Day for about 50 years.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Augusta Bockelmann, Libertyville; and five nephews, James McLaughlin, Half Day, with whom he lived, Percy McLaughlin, Deerfield chief of police; Louis and Fred Bocklemann, Libertyville, and Alfred Stancliff, Half Day.
