David Gene Hill, age 47, of Shelbyville died suddenly Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at University of Louisville Hospital.
He was previously a store manager and merchandiser with Toys R Us, a home contractor, and enjoyed his garden and flowers. He was a member of Shelby Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Irvin Eugene Hill. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Shouse Hill of Shelbyville, a brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Vicky Hill of Voorhess, N. J., and a nephew, Joshua Hill of Arcata, CA. He had many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorial service is 7 p.m. Monday at Shannon Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse Baxter and Rev. Don Waterfill officiating. Visitation is 2-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
