ST. GEORGE, Utah—Funeral services for Lawrence P. Biorn were Monday in Manila at the LDS Chapel. Viewing was from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.

Burial was in Manila.

Biorn, 81, longtime Manila, Utah, area resident, died Thursday, March 8, in St. George, Utah.

He was born September 1, 1908 in Blackfoot, Idaho, and spent much of his life working construction in the Manila area including Evanston, Green River and Rock Springs.

He married Annie May Call in 1929. She died in 1934.

He married Thelma Edgington May 21, 1936. She survives him. The Biorns spent 18 months on an LDS mission in Arkansas in the early ‘80s.

Survivors also include five children, sons, Larry A. Biorn and Gerald P. Biorn; daughters, WaNeta Lamb, Ida Marie Twitchell and Zona Larsen; 22 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
