Isaac Butcher
Funeral services for Isaac Butcher, 80, 150 Lowell avenue, who died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Minnie O'Brien, 1156 Richards street, at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at 36 East Seventh South street.
He was born in Bingham June 22, 1863, a son of Soderick and Katheryn Hickman Butcher. He had lived in Salt Lake City 65 years and was a general contractor. Mr. Butcher retired 12 years ago. His wife, Mrs. Rachel L. Worthen Butcher, died in 1928.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. O'Brien and Mrs. Teany Gilberg, both of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Avis Heathcote, Los ANgeles; Mrs. Eunice Dallas and Mrs. Margaret Maes, San Francisco; and Mrs. Bessie Hunter, Omaha, Neb.; three sons, Stanley D. and Harrison Butcher, both of Salt Lake City and Leland Butcher, San Francisco; three brothers, Harrison Butcher, Los Angeles; Frank and Jack Butcher, both of Salt Lake City; one sister, Mrs. Pauline Perry, Ruth, Nev.; 30 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at place of the funeral Tuesday until time of services. Burial will be in Salt Lake City cemetery.
