Emma Jane MIKEL, age 85, died February 6, 1951 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James STEPHENS of Wakelee.
Mrs. MIKEL was born March 15, 1865, daughter of John and Elizabeth (SMITH) BLOOMER and was twice married. Her first husband was George S. DRAKE who she married in 1879. Her second marriage to Mansfield MIKEL took place in 1900 and divorced in 1937. She has spent her entire life around Marcellus.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. James STEPHENS, Mrs. Bertha COLE, Mrs. Bertha HURLEY and Mrs. Harold RIMES; five sons, Sylvester, Henry, Charles and Ernest DRAKE and Elmer MIKEL; one step-son, George DRAKE; 39 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
