At the time of his death, Mr. Goodrich's residence location was considered to be Rowland's or Rowland's Station which was the home and hotel of Thomas Benton Rowland. This location was later developed as the Al Tahoe Subdivision which created Alameda Street of which the Rowland Cemetery, previously associated with the Lake House resort of Dean and Van Wagner, is located and within which a portion of the cemetery extended into the street.

Charles P. Young and his family, with whom Mr. Goodrich was related by marriage somehow, lived at Bijou, just east of Rowland's.

Today called "Al Tahoe Cemetery," it is the first documented cemetery serving those residing at "Lake Valley" on the south end of Lake Tahoe, beginning in the early 1850s.
