Lois G. McClelland, 90, died at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2003. at Rosewood Care Center, Alton.
The daughter of Elza and Olive (Pigg) Risinger was born on May 4, 1912, in Odin, Ill.
On Aug. l, 1928, she married Loyd "Whitey" McClelland in Salem, Ill. He preceded her in death on March 29, 1985.
Prior to her retirement she worked at Fireside House Nursing Home. She was a charter member of Glenridge Baptist Church and was also the oldest living member.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Gertrude and Bill Noller ofCentralia, Ill., Virginia and Bill Robertson of Bethalto; two grandchildren and spouses,Vicky and Dave Bruns, Bob and Sherry Robertson; five great-grandchildren, Kelly Bruns, Chris Bruns, Jason Bruns, Mandy Robertson and Corey Shaaf; a sister, Mildred Gillihan of
Salem; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and June Risinger of Selmaville, Ill., and Dwight and Pat Risinger of St. Louis. Her husband, parents; a sister, Ruth Arrowsmith; and four brothers, Bob Risinger, Warren Risinger, Bill Risinger and Ed Risinger all preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday or after 7 a.m. Wednesday at Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia.
Services will be held at 11a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Butch Shedd officiating.
Burial will be at Deadmond Cemetery near Centralia.
