Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville, Texas with burial at Watson Chapel Cemetery in Bleakwood.
A native and lifelong resident of Bleakwood, he graduated from Newton High School, Class of 1965. He was a U.S. Army VietNam Veteran and was a retired technical assistant in the Inspection Department of Motiva.
Preceeded in death by his parents, James Weed and Reba Leona Marshall Singleton who died October 4, 2002.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Singleton of Bleakwood, daughter, Tonia Rooney of Florida, son, Todd Singleton of Kirbyville and five grandchildren, Matthew Tremont, Maranda Rooney, Sandy Kirk, Christie Kirk, and Alicia Anderson.
