Oran E. LEEDY, 88, Rt. 5, Rochester, died at 5:15 p.m. Monday at Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth, where he had been a patient five weeks. He had been in failing health for three months. He was born March 8, 1901 in Richland Township to Charles and Nora MECHLING LEEDY. He lived all his life in the Richland Center and Tiosa areas. On May 24, 1924 in Rochester, he married Geneva Mae BALDWIN, who died Dec. 22, 1984. He was a retired farmer and also was retired from Studebaker Corporation, South Bend. He was a member of the Tiosa Brethren Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Irene) GARBER, South Bend a son, Eldon LEEDY, Warsaw; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. An infant sister preceded in death. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Donald PETERS officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday.
