SILVER LAKE -- June Marie Noble, 75, Silver Lake, died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, at a Topeka hospital.

Mrs. Noble had been a cook at Silver Lake High School.

She was born July 3, 1923, at Ashland, Ky., the daughter of Harold Benton Hutchinson Sr. and Louise Fannin Hutchinson. She moved to Dover from Kentucky in 1940. She moved to Silver Lake in 1951. Mrs. Noble was a member of the Silver Lake United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and Bible school.

She also was a member of the auxiliary to Silver Lake Post No. 160 of the American Legion, Wheatheart Square Dance Club and the Southwest Wrens Bowling League.

She married Thomas C. Noble on Nov. 19, 1946, at Topeka. He died Sept. 3, 1995.

Survivors include a son, Thomas H. Noble, Santa Paula, Calif.; two daughters, Linda L. Landis, Silver Lake, and Ruthie Davenport, Tryon, Okla.; a sister, Daisy Hunter, Topeka; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka.

Burial will be at Silver Lake Cemetery.

Mrs. Noble will lie in state after 11 a.m. Sunday at the mortuary where relatives and friends will meet from 3 to 5 p.m.
