Jerome R. Larson of Renton died April 12, 2005, in Seattle. He was 67.
Born November 14, 1937, in Richville, Minnesota, he joined the Air Force in 1955 and retired in 1975. He lived in Renton for 15 years.
Mr. Larson worked at The Boeing Company for 11 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Renton Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Renton Eagles.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, and "puttering in the garage".
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth, and son Don. He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Ginie" Larson of Renton; son Russell Larson of Winlock; daughter Debra Hensley of Winlock; stepsons Leon Charboneau, Rick Charboneau, Jim Charboneau and Nick Charboneau; brother Dan Kilgas of Indiana; sisters Gloria Perala of Minnesota, Kathy Fashbaugh, Wanda Gordon and Martha Emmett, all of Indiana; and 17 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:45 p.m. at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Maple Valley.
Memorials may be made to Medic One or to the donor's favorite charity.
Arrangements are by American Memorials Funeral Directors Inc. in Renton.
