Mrs. A. H. Brown Buried Here Wed.
Funeral services for Mrs. A. H. Brown, who died at her home in Bedford September 9, were held at the Christian church, Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Lowell Hall of Blockton. Burial was in Fairview cemetery.
Nancy Lavenia Round, daughter of Silas [Andrew] and Mary [Serrelda Scarborough] Round, was born Dec. 1, 1883 at Sheridan, Mo., and died at the age of 73 years, nine months, eight days.
She was married to Almond Henry Brown on Nov. 15, 1899 at Grant City, Mo. To them were born two children, Silas Edward Brown, who preceded her in death July 16, 1951, and Mabel Mary Brown, now Mrs. Harry Cole of Blockton.
Surviving with the husband and daughter are a son-in-law, Supt. H. [arry] A. Cole of Blockton; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Letha Brown of Bedford; four grandchildren, Mrs. Betty Swan of Northfield, Minn., Carole Cole of Blockton, Leland Brown and Mrs. Elaine Pace of Bedford; two great grandchildren, Ricky and Kerry Swan; one sister, Mrs. Della Toops of Riverton, Wyo.; four brothers, James Round of Arapahoe, Wyo., Ralph Round of Clearfield, Lester Round of Bedford, Theodore Round of Castro Valley, Calif.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers, Madge Round, Mrs. Goldie Brooks, Mrs. Malona Reith, Phillip Round and Floyd Round.
