Linda L. WHETSTONE, 43, of 2957 Center St., Tippecanoe, died Friday at 10:30 a.m. in her home following an illness of 1 1/2 years. She was born in Fulton County Aug. 23, 1942 to Arthur Andrew and Opal Irene OLDFATHER. She had lived in Tippecanoe for 20 years. She was married to Daniel WHETSTONE Oct. 9, 1969; he survives. She was co-owner of L&L Hauling of Tippecanoe. Surviving with the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Rebecca) FRANZ, Culver; the father, of Rochester; a sister, Mrs. Donald (Carol) SUNDHEIMER, Warsaw; four brothers, Victor ARVEN Jr., Fort Wayne; Paul ARVEN, of California; Richard and Larry ARVEN, both of Rochester, and three grandchildren. Two infant daughters preceded in death. Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Deaton Funeral Home, Bourbon, with the Rev. Robert BROWN officiating. Burial will be in the Tippecanoe Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and on Monday until time of services.
