Clementine Virginia Underwood married John "Jack" East on February 17, 1877 in Roane County, Tennessee. According to the 1900 census Tiny, her husband John, (Jack) and their 7 children lived in Rockwood, Roane, Tennessee. Her granddaughters, Mildred & Mabel East, remembered her as a very quiet lady.

Obituary:
"The stork maintained a four-to-one lead over the grim harvester of death during June, according to the vital statistics report for the Fifth District filed July 10. Deaths were: June 26, Mrs. Jack EAST, 64. Several from this place attended the funeral of Mrs. Jack EAST at Winton's Chapel last Friday."
