David Ellis Coleman, aged 79, died of septicemia at 9AM today at his residence, 619 Riverside Avenue, after six days' illness. He was a lifelong resident of Allen County, having been born in St. Joe Twp, and having lived in this city during the last 35 years.
Surviving are a son, Roy Ellis, of this city, two daughters, Mrs. A H. Meyer and Mrs. W. A. Stockmann, both of this city, a brother William of Fort Wayne, a sister Mrs. Emma Long of St. Joe Twp and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2PM at the home with the Rev. Robert J. Burns officiating. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. The body will be returned to the residence Tuesday at 10AM from D. O. McComb & Sons' Funeral Home.
