A native of Adrian, Mich., Mr. Maples resided in Dansville for many years, moving to Florida in 1972 where he was a member of the Western New York Club.
Surviving are his wife, Grace A. Maples of Cape Coral; a son, Paul William Maples of Casa Grande, Ariz.; a daughter, Faye Gray of Lake Lure, N.C.; a brother, LeRoy Maples of Albany, N.Y.; two sisters, Lucille Brown of Albany and Evelyn McNinch of Dansville; seven step-children; 26 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A service was conducted in the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery Chapel of Light with the Rev. David Kelley officiating.
