He was born Oct. 7, 1885 in Kansas and resided in Shelburne, Vt., before moving to Clarks Mills 30 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, the former Beatrice Landon; a daughter, Mrs. Edith Yantz of Shelburne, Vt., a sister, Mrs. Harriet Barker of Burlington, Vt.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held from the Flynn Bros. Funeral Home, Greenwich, Rev. Stephen M. Tolander, pastor of the Bottskill Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Salem.
