Funeral services for Jasper H. Russell, who died April 25, 1969, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 1969, in Maxey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A.M. Seamon officiating.
Burial will be in Restlawn Gardens Cemetery.
Rev. J.H. Russell, a lifelong resident of Lamar County, was a son of the late Bruce and Mary (Fisher) Russell. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church and formerly served as Assistant pastor.
He was married to Winnie Brackeen who preceded him in death.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Marks, Paris; two grandsons, William J. Marks of Dallas and Hubert L. Marks of Chicago, IL; one great-grandson, William J. Marks Jr.; one sister, Mrs. Ione Stewart of Paris; a brother, James Russell of Oklahoma City, OK; two aunts, Mrs, Mattie Whytus of Lone Oak and Mrs. Willie Ann Polk of Greenville.
