Fletcher was a son of John H. and Sarah J. Vickrey. He married Cora Keith in Huntington Co., IN Apr. 12, 1903. To Fletcher and Cora was born a son, Raymond.

Following Cora's death in 1905, Fletcher married Angie McFarland.

A funeral notice for Fletcher appeared in the March 7, 1939 "Indianapolis News," as follows: "Services will be held Thursday for Fletcher C. Vickery (sic), age fifty-seven, who was found dead in bed at Marion. Surviving are the widow, a son, a stepdaughter, a stepson, six brothers and three sisters." (Contributed by FAG 47183440)
