Former Olympics judge Coy Dies

Mrs. Winston French (Dora May) coy, 60, a former Olympic Games figure skating judge and watercolor artist, died Friday.

Mrs. Coy, of Lakebay, was born in Tacoma and was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Stdium High School. She attained a world judging classification in figure skating and served as a judge at the Olympic Games in Saporo, Japan, in 1972 and was a judge at various competitions in the United States, France, Great Britian and Canada.

She was a member of the Lakewood Winter Club and was a board member of the United States Figure Skating Association. Other interests included memberships in the Downing and Wilson Parent-Teacher Associations, the Capitol District Garden Club and the Meadowpark and Lynden golf clubs.

She was a member of the Women Painters of Washington and a former member of the Northwest Water Color Society, the Pacific Gallery artists and the Weaver's Guild.

Besides her husband, survivors include two sons, Winston F. Jr. of Monroe and Dana of Olympia, and a sister, Rose Marie Raudebaugh of Fircrest. Tuell Funeral Home is in charge.
