Elden N. Cook, a retired carpenter foreman who had been employed at McChord Air Force Base, died yesterday. He was 72.
Mr. Cook, of 507 131st St. E., was a lifelong resident of Tacoma. He belonged to the Lake City Community Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nora F.; two sons, Terry E. of Boston and William A. of Fairfield, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Shaw and Mrs. Gladys Ailport, both of Tacoma, and Mrs. Blanche Erskine of Littlerock, Thurston County, and four grandchildren. Mountain View Funeral Home is in charge.
