MULVANE - Pounds, Cecil R., age 94, born July 4, 1914 in Hummingford, NE, died April 14, 2009 in Wichita. Cecil came to Wichita in 1942 with family. He retired from Beech Aircraft, after working for 47 years. He is survived by son, Robert Pounds; daughters, Vivian Batson and Cristi (Robert) Wilkin; grandchildren, Jennifer Erickson, Joanne Eggleston, Amy Pounds, Alicia Pounds, Jerry A. (Rosanne) Milligan, Tara Klein; 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Memorial has been established with the Mulvane UMC Youth Ministry, 107 S. Central, Mulvane, KS 67110. Visitation 10am-8pm Friday at Smith Mortuary-Derby; graveside service 2pm Saturday at Mulvane Cemetery. Send condolences via smithfamilymortuaries.com
