MADISON - Chester W. Clifford, age 65 of 4136 S. Sunset Court, died Thursday,June 9, 1977 in a Madison hospital. He was born February 10, 1912 in Poplar, Montana. He had been a resident of Madison for nearly sixty years and was Secretory-Treasurer of the Sub-Zero Freezer Company where he had been employed for nearly thirty years. He
was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, and a Navy
veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Lillian, a daughter, Mrs. Jerry(Joan)Indermark of Madison and two grandchildren, Joanne and James. Services will be held at the SCHROEDER FUNERAL HOME; 3325 E. Washington Ave. at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 1977. The Rev. Louis M. Swartz will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday ,June 10th at the funeral home. Memorials may be given either for the Covenant Presbyterian Church or for the Caledonia United Presbyterian Church.
