Lena Arnold, age 97, of Kissimmee and formerly of Okeechobee passed away March 5, 2010 in Good Samaritan Nursing Home. Born November 27, 1912 in Fort Basinger to John Marion and Sarah Jane Carter, she was a homemaker. She was born and raised in Fort Basinger and moved to Kissimmee in 1978. She attended Basinger Christian Brethren.
Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Arnold and her daughter, Evelyn Lamb. She is survived by three daughters, Jeanette Garrison of Okeechobee, Juanell Goodman of Kissimmee and Punkin J. Arnold of Okeechobee; son, Leve Arnold, Sr. of Okeechobee; numerous grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and her sister, Carrine Gokey of Debary.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010 Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home with Pastor Monroe Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at Basinger Cemetery.
