1) Susan E. "Susie" Simmons; was born 5 Jun 1858; died 19 Feb 1909; married George Alexander Porterfield;
2) Mary Virginia "Jeannie" Simmons; born 17 Oct 1859; died 1 Mar 1945; married Dr. William Neill;
3) James Samuel Simmons, who married Agnes McKinstry, was born 25 Nov 1861
4) Linn Thomas Simmons; born 2 Feb 1864; died 6 Feb 1865 at the age of one year.
