OAK GROVE WOMAN CLAIMED BY DEATH
Mrs. Paul Nabholz, the mother of Mrs. Price Smouse of this city, died at her home north of Shellsburg Tuesday night at the age of 69 years. Her illness was of short duration and her death comes as a distinct shock to her family and friends.
The funeral was held this morning at the Oak Grove Church of which deceased had been a member many years. The services were at 11:00 o'clock. Burial was in the Shellsburg cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Nabholz celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last July when all their family was at home for a number of days.
Mrs. Nabholz was the mother of ten children all of who with the husband survive her. During her last illness all the sons and daughters with the exception of two who reside in Canada, were with the mother and at her bedside when the end came.
The Nabholz family has a remarkable record as there has never been a death among the children and only one grandchild has been taken. Mrs. Nabholz was a good woman. Her interest were centered in her home and children but she was always ready and willing to do for others as needed of her in alerting hand.
