Jennie Johnson Orr, 56, of St. Martin passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 22, 2009.

She was born on August 8, 1953 in Davenport, Iowa. She most enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by father, Carl Johnson and brother, Cecil Cowden.

Survivors include: her loving husband of 40 years, Dean E. Orr; son, Charles Orr; daughters, Teresa Orr, Amanda Orr Beeson and DeAnna Orr; grandchildren, Brayleigh, Carter, Zachary and Marleigh; her mother, Mary Garrick; brothers, Charles "Buddy" and Clarence Johnson; sisters, Shirley Rushing, Edna Orr and Dorothy Collier and many friends, family and loved ones.

A Memorial Service will be performed by Pastor Bill Renick, Thursday, March 26, 2009, 6:30 p.m. at the Lemoyne Boulevard Baptist Church where friends may visit one hour prior to service.

Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Howard Ave., Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Hospice of Light or any charity of their choice.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Light for the compassionate care given in time of need.
