Benjamin A Baldwin, 78, of 24723 Cardiff Ave. died Thursday in a San Bernardino hospital. He was a native of Omega, Ill, and had been a farmer for 50 years.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Florence Evans, San Bernardino, two son Lawrence Baldwin, San Bernardino, and John Baldwin, Standard, California; two brother Elmer Baldwin, San Bernardino, and Bill Baldwin, Standard; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Mark B Shaw Chapel. Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery. The body will lie in state until time of services.
