Born in Buzzards Bay, she was the daughter of the late Alton & Louisa (Read) Ames. She worked for H. L. Boutons for over 40 years.
She enjoyed Foxwoods, traveling, yard sales and was a member of the Wareham Emblem Club.
Her brother, Alton Ames of Burlingame, CA, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews survive her.
She was the sister of the late Phyllis (Ames) Musiol and Elmer Ames.
Her graveside service will be at Oakland Grove Cemetery, Shore Rd., Bourne, on Wednesday, April 22, at 11 a.m.
She will be missed in our hearts forever.
