NOWLAN - In Livermore, Aug. 12, 1947, Amasa J. (Packy), beloved husband of the late May L. Nowlan, loving brother of Ralph Nowlan and brother-in-law of Gordon Taylor; a native of Pennsylvania. A member of Nelson Miles Camp, Spanish American War Veterans (Los Angeles and Van Nuys papers please copy).

Private funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 15, 1947, from the Halloran Funeral Home, 1266 9th Ave. Interment, Golden Gate National Cemetery. Memorial services tonight (Thurs.), Aug. 14, at 8:30 p.m., under the auspices of Nelson Miles Camp No. 10, S.A.W.V.
