SAN ANGELO - A.J. Shawn, 80, of San Angelo, Texas died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at his residence. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Rowena Protestant Cemetery. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Ida Mae Shawn of San Angelo; daughter, Julie Marie Fowler of Cedar Park; brother, Clarence Shawn of Alburquerque, N.M.; and sisters, Gladys Berry of Burke, Va. and Mary Alexander of Grand Praire.
