Hettie R. Keisling
Funeral services for Mrs. Hettie R. Keisling, 88, of Monroe, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2000, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. J. Glea Shelley officiating. Burial was in the Martin Cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Keisling, a housewife, died Thursday, August 31, 2000, at Overton County Nursing Home.

Born September 28, 1911, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Webbie Nation Reagan. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt Keisling; two sisters, Allene White and Alva Roberts; and three brothers, Herman Reagan, Thurman Reagan, and J.B. Reagan.

She was a member of the Hatcher Hall Christian Church. In 1998, she resided for several months with a special great nephew, Ronald Dishman, and his wife, Collette.

Survivors include a step-daughter, Edna Smith, Tennessee; a brother, Shirley Reagan, Anderson, IN; several step-grandchildren; several step-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
