Anna Woolworth Hull Dies in Danbury at 92
Anna B. Woolworth Hull of Danbury died at Danbury Hospital on July 5. She was 92.
Born in Belchertown, Mass., Mrs. Hull was the daughter of the late William S. and Catharine Beam Woolworth and the wife of the late Henry M. Hull of Danbury. She was a long-time resident of Greenwich and a member of the Second Congregational Church there.
As a resident of anbury for over 25 years, Mrs. Hull was a member of the National Society of Mayflower Descendants, the Mary Wooster Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Angell Husted Chapter of the Daughters of the American Colonists.
She was also a former trustee and honorary member of the Scott Fanton Museum and Historical Society of Danbury. she lived at the Nash Apartments in Ridgefield in 1963-1964.
Mrs. Hull is survived by one son, Henry M. Hull Jr. of Stamford; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret H. Drew of Kingdom Ridge Road, Wilton, Mrs. Catherine H. Lynch of Old Greenwich, and Mrs. Janet H. Sinclair of Danbury; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were on Monday, July 9 at the hull home in Danbury. Burial was in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.
